From Body to Mind

Hey,

I'm Nicole.

Handstand coach, Yoga teacher and movement lover.

As someone who has always loved movement and physical activity, I found myself feeling lost and out of control during the COVID-19 pandemic when my regular gymnastics practice was interrupted.

However, I discovered the practice of yoga, and it complemented my handstand journey in ways I never could have imagined. Balancing my body in a handstand not only brought me physical strength, but it also connected my body and mind, providing me with mental strength and balance.

These changes were so profound that I decided to become a yoga teacher and handstand coach, so I could share my knowledge and experience with others looking to find strength and balance in their own lives through movement.

Now, my yoga journey has shifted from a purely physical practice to one of being present and actively living yoga in daily life.

nice to meet you!

How I got here...

1998

Movement has been a safe place for me since I was little. Creating dancing routines, learning tricks on the trampoline and doing gymnastics around the house has always been part of who I am.

2009-2019

2020

That changed in the year 2020 when I had the new years resolution stand a free-standing handstand for 10 seconds. I started practicing and only in March my regular practice was already interrupted by the Covid pandemic. At that time a lot of changes happened in my personal life, and I felt out of control when I found Yoga.

I used it as a practice at home and noticed that the daily yoga practice complemented my handstand journey big time and all in all these two practices gave me a sense of control.

During my practice I’m in charge of my body, I’m in charge of my mind, I’m in charge of my life force energy.

Balancing my body in a handstand did not only bring me muscle strength, but it also connects my body and mind and brings me mental strength and balance.

2022

The changes have been so profound that I decided to follow the path of Yoga and become a Yoga Teacher. As a former gymnast I will always want to learn new cool tricks and poses but as a human being I crave the side of yoga that strengthens and balances my mind to bring me peace.

As a Yoga Teacher and Handstand Coach I want to share my knowledge and experience to bring people strength and balance in their life.

During my adolescence I focused more on gymnastics and practiced one or twice a week, so never for an elite purpose, it has always been “just a hobby”. During these years I lost touch with all the other forms of movement that have been such a substantial part of my life as a child.
